Cleaning Rugs
Professional cleaning of your Oriental rugs will bring out
the richness of color and softness of the wool. Depending on
the amount of traffic, a professional washing of your
oriental rug is recommended every one to three years.

Rotation:
To ensure even wear, your rug should be rotated once a
year. Depending on the traffic, the rotation may vary
from six months to two years. Also, rotate your rugs
according to the amount of direct sunlight. Over time
direct sunlight can fade the dyes of your rugs.

Vacuuming:
Vacuum your rug on a regular basis to remove dirt and
restore life to the fibers. Be sure to go back and forth
in the same direction over the entire rug (avoiding the
fringes). If you are vacuuming with a beater brush, we
suggest you set the brush so it just touches the top of
the pile and moves easily across the rug. When vacuuming
with a carpet tool, ease the suction of the vacuum by
adjusting it accordingly. Be sure to periodically vacuum
the back of the rug.

Padding:
A quality pad used under your rug helps protect it from
dirt, wear, and slippage. We will be happy to provide
you with the correct padding.

Restoration:
In case of damage, just about any problem has a solution
with professional restoration. Old and antique rugs
sometimes need to be rewoven where worn, and restored to
life. Newer rugs are rarely in need of repair. An
experienced professional must be consulted in these
matters.
Pick up and delivery
We will pick up and deliver your rugs for cleaning within 15
miles of our location. However, you can bring your rugs in
and receive a 10% discount on all cleaning and repairs.
